HAPPY 2020!
Jan. 14th, 2020 11:46 pmHello!
I haven't updated my LJ for the longest time. I'm on twitter a lot though so I'm still updated.
It'll be Arashi's 21st year.
β I am kinda sad with their upcoming hiatus but I still hope they come back together.
β Became a member of their FC too but not so lucky to get tickets for the concert.
β Happy with their soc med accounts, did not download tiktok though. LOL!
β Downloaded Spotify just to listen to their singles.
β Surprised with Nino's announcement of marriage.
β Hoping for AAA 2020.
β I haven't opened the package with my 5x20 albums. (^_^)''
One happy Arashi fan here
Jun. 16th, 2018 09:38 pmI haven't posted for a long time. Been busy with work... and then there are some changes at work so... I am mostly active on Twitter and IG.
Seeing all the menimienaimono releases makes my fangirl heart so happy! To all the subbers/staff of this comm, thank you so much for your time and effort. I really appreciate all your hard work. <3
Happy Hallow's Eve!
Nov. 1st, 2017 12:47 pmHello, World!
It's been a while since I last posted. I've been busy with work and I mostly fangirl on Twitter. (add me @Mars916)
I haven't gotten my copy of "Untitled" album so I haven't listened to any of the songs. (Any links?) and I think I've been kicked out of a subbing comm. just when I'm beginning to be active again on LJ. *sigh*
I've been sick too... still recovering from an asthma attack and flu. Good thing I have 6 days break from work so I can rest. The perks of being a teacher, I guess.
Hope everyone's okay.
Easter Sunday
Apr. 16th, 2017 02:41 pmThe actress who played Clay's mom was Eddie Furlong's β€οΈ interest in Brainscan. π±
Clay looks a liiiiittle like a young Joseph Gordon Levitt... and Hannah reminded me of a young Natalie Portman.β¬ π€
Oh, Tony reminds me of Bruno Mars. Don't believe me? just watch! π
Well, back to reality.. (Meaning de-cluttering my cabinet.) π
Happy Easter to all! π
I can't wait to go back to fangirling. Thank goodness for Twitter, I'm still updated with Arashi. (And yes I was so sad about SMAP's disbandment.)
*sigh*
Going back to work... then sleep. Zzz..
First entry for 2016

And advanced Happy Chinese New Year!
P.S. I will put this into a cut when I get to use my laptop, but since it's 3 a.m. right now, please bear with it. I'm going back to bed.

CLOSING 2015
One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through.
Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters β whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the moments of life that have finished.
Did you lose your job? Has a loving relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parentsβ house? Gone to live abroad? Has a long-lasting friendship ended all of a sudden?
You can spend a long time wondering why this has happened.
You can tell yourself you wonβt take another step until you find out why certain things that were so important and so solid in your life have turned into dust, just like that.
But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your parents, your husband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister.
Everyone is finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill.
Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away.
That is why it is so important (however painful it may be!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at home.
Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible world, of what is going on in our hearts β and getting rid of certain memories also means making some room for other memories to take their place.
Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them.
Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.
Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood.
Stop turning on your emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one that shows how much you suffered from a certain loss: that is only poisoning you, nothing else.
Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the βideal moment.β
Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back.
Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person β nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need.
This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.
Closing cycles. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your life.
Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.
Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.
Paulo Coelho
Lost some old friends (not even sure if they treated me as a friend to begin with, but hey... it's their lost. ha!), and gained some new friends. I'm working in a new school for over a year now.
Still an Arashi fan. Aiba-shi is still my ichiban. Still a Takuya Kimura fan. hehe.. and still a Zaizai fan and will always be a fan.
I'm also following a local actor for a change. LOL! I just can relate since he too, lost a parent. plus he's very kind and not to mention good looking.
Anyways, just wanted to say hi to my flist and wanted to let you know that I am still alive.
Happy Halloween!

Celebrated with friends (who are fellow fangirls as well) last night. I haven't been posting much here. Been busy with work but am still updated with the fandom. and kind of active commenting/thanking here and there. LOL!
Merry Christmas again, Minna-san!
Happy Birthday!
